To My Friends

It has been since Monday since I spoke to you last,
it seems forever, my dear friend, as if years have passed.
I listen to my music, read our works we do share,
my sadness seems to disappear, as if it's not there.

Dancing in the Moonlight serenades me, causing me to grin,
missing you, Helena, the whole crew, even Lucius, the man of sin.
I am still hurting to hear that you all might be just using me for fun,
I say 'screw you' to those people. cause you mean a lot to me, hun.

You really have become like a sister to me from the times we spend,
if it were up to us, I think we wouldn't want it to ever to suddenly end.
You're more than a friend to me and this I want you to know:
Every faltering moment I have, you've helped me to grow.

I know I strive to do this for you and well, what can I say?
Hoping that you too, Ivy, feel the same way?
You praise me for the literature works I have done,
even if I spend a little time on them, they're so much fun.

Now. . .I know the rest of you think I may be praising her alone,
